Tony Yoka Returns to the Ring on May 17 Against Undefeated Russian Opponent

French Olympic gold medalist Tony Yoka (13-3, 11 KOs) is set to return to the ring on May 17 in Paris, France, where he’ll face undefeated Russian prospect Arslan Yallyev (16-0, 10 KOs).

Yoka will look to continue his comeback after enduring a tough stretch in 2022–2023, where he suffered three consecutive losses to Martin Bakole, Carlos Takam, and Ryad Merhy. Since then, the Frenchman has notched two consecutive stoppage wins, aiming to get back into heavyweight contention.

Yallyev, who remains unbeaten, has already fought twice in 2024, scoring one knockout and one decision victory.

This matchup marks a significant test for both fighters—with Yoka aiming to revive his career and Yallyev looking to make a statement on the international stage.
