MVP Launches Internal Review Regarding Lawsuit Against Gervonta Davis

Most Valuable Promotions has issued a statement in response to the civil lawsuit recently filed against WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, ahead of his scheduled exhibition match with heavyweight boxer and influencer Jake Paul.

“Most Valuable Promotions immediately initiated an internal review upon receiving information about the civil lawsuit filed against Gervonta Davis in Miami-Dade County on October 30, 2025.

We are gathering information and reviewing the details to ensure that any decision we make is thoroughly considered. We unequivocally condemn any form of violence and are committed to handling this matter with the utmost care and respect for all parties involved.

Once our review is complete and we have consulted with the necessary parties, we will determine the appropriate next steps. Until then, we will not be making further comments,” the statement reads.

The exhibition bout between Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KO) and Gervonta Davis (30-0-1, 28 KO) is currently scheduled for November 14. However, due to Davis’s latest legal issues, the fight may be postponed or modified.
