Matchroom and Queensberry Confirm Weight Classes for 5 vs 5 Tournament

On March 24, the weight categories for the 5 vs 5 tournament between Matchroom and Queensberry were confirmed, set to take place on the undercard of the fight for the undisputed light heavyweight world title (up to 79.37 kg) between WBO, WBC, and IBF titleholder Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) and WBA and IBO champion Dmitry Bivol (22-0, 11 KOs). Under the tournament's terms, Eddie Hearn, as the promoter for Matchroom, will select two categories, Warren from Queensberry will choose two, and the final category will be selected by the tournament organizer Turki Al al-Sheikh.

The announced categories are:

Super featherweight (up to 57.1 kg) – chosen by Matchroom

Middleweight (up to 72.5 kg) – chosen by Queensberry

Light heavyweight (up to 79.37 kg) – chosen by Matchroom

Super heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) – chosen by Queensberry

Super heavyweight – chosen by Turki Al al-Sheikh

It was previously reported that the Beterbiev vs. Bivol undercard might feature two top fights: Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) against Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs) and Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) against Zhang Zhilei (26-2-1, 21 KOs).
