Hrgovic and Dubois Finalizing Agreement for Bout

Insider Mike Coppinger, citing sources from ESPN, reported that Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs) are finalizing an agreement for a bout scheduled for June 1st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The heavyweight bout (over 90.7 kg) will take place on the undercard of the fight for the undisputed light heavyweight world title (up to 79.37 kg) between the holder of the WBO, WBC, and IBF titles Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) and WBA and IBO champion Dmitry Bivol (22-0, 11 KOs).

Filip Hrgovic last entered the ring in December against Mark De Mori (41-3-2, 36 KOs) and won by technical knockout. Daniel Dubois also fought on the same show, securing a technical knockout victory against American Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22 KOs).

Previously, Coppinger reported on another bout in the Beterbiev – Bivol undercard. According to the insider, Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) and Zhilei Zhang (26-2-1, 21 KOs) will meet.

Additionally, Hrgovic mentioned that his contract includes a clause to replace one of the fighters in the Usyk – Fury bout, in case one of the boxers is unable to participate.
