Wilder and Zhilei Finalizing Agreement for Bout

Insider Mike Coppinger, citing sources from ESPN, reported that Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) and Zhilei Zhang (26-2-1, 21 KOs) are finalizing an agreement for a fight scheduled for June 1st in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The heavyweight bout (over 90.7 kg) will take place on the undercard of the fight for the undisputed light heavyweight world title (up to 79.37 kg) between the holder of the WBO, WBC, and IBF titles Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) and WBA and IBO champion Dmitry Bivol (22-0, 11 KOs).

Both Deontay and Zhilei share the experience of being defeated by Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs) in their last fights. Wilder lost by unanimous decision in December, while Zhilei lost by split decision in March.
