Insider Jake Donovan has reported that Ukrainian boxer Serhii Bohachuk (24-2, 23 KOs) will make his return to the ring on the undercard of the rematch between WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).
"Tom Loeffler confirmed that Serhii Bohachuk will return to the ring on December 21 on the Usyk vs. Fury undercard in Riyadh. The news comes after Matchroom suggested Bohachuk as a potential opponent for Jaron Ennis in November, but as we can see, Bohachuk is not in that game," Donovan wrote.
The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is set for December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It’s worth noting that the International Boxing Federation (IBF) has scheduled a purse bid for the fight between their welterweight champion Jaron Ennis (32-0, 29 KOs) and mandatory challenger Karen Chukhadzhian (24-2, 13 KOs). It was also reported that Ennis might vacate his title and move up in weight.
