Hrgovic Must Be Ready to Replace Usyk or Fury

Mandatory IBF heavyweight title challenger Croatian Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) has stated that his contract includes a mandatory condition to be ready to replace one of the participants in the fight between WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO, and The Ring champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).

"It's in my contract – to be ready in case someone drops out. I'm ready for May 18th. I'm here to replace somebody.

It's tough because I have to prepare for May 18th and June. But it's an opportunity I can't miss," said Hrgovic.

Earlier, Hrgovic's coach revealed that they are preparing for a fight against Daniel Dubois, which is set for June 1st in Saudi Arabia.
