Daniel Dubois Challenges Jake Paul, and the American Accepts

IBF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) has called out influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs).

Jake shared a conversation with the British boxer in which Dubois proposed a title fight.

Dubois:Hi Jake, great performance over the weekend, but how about fighting for a real heavyweight world title? Daniel Dubois challenges you. Let’s make it happen!

Paul:Get in line.

Shortly after, Jake confirmed he’s willing to negotiate with Dubois.

A man who’s been boxing for 12 years, fought over 100 amateur and professional bouts, and was on the undercard of my fight… Haha.

But okay… I’ll have Nakisa Bidarian reach out to Frank Warren to line you up for the throne. Unlike Artur [Beterbiev], at least you have a few thousand fans,” Jake wrote, referring to a previous challenge issued by Artur Beterbiev.

To recap, on November 15, Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson via unanimous decision. The 58-year-old Tyson returned to the ring in an official bout for the first time since June 2005. The fight was contested over eight 2-minute rounds, and the result was officially added to both fighters’ records.

According to Netflix, the fight was watched live by 60 million households worldwide, with peak viewership reaching 65 million, making it one of the most-watched events of 2024.
