Beterbiev Challenges Paul to a Fight. Jake Laughs It Off

Undisputed light heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KOs) has reacted to the fight between Mike Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) and popular influencer-boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs).

The Russian fighter took to social media to challenge Jake Paul to a fight, but Paul simply laughed off the proposition.

Artur Beterbiev: "What could you possibly do in the ring against an active undisputed champion? Just know, I’m always open to any proposals."

Jake Paul: "I just saw this... A top-5 P4P fighter calling me out. Haha. Four years, and I’m running this sport."

Artur Beterbiev: "After four years, it’s time for real challenges. I haven’t seen either your agreement or refusal. What are we going to do?"

To recap, on November 15, Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson via unanimous decision. For the 58-year-old Tyson, it was his first official return to the ring since June 2005. The fight lasted eight 2-minute rounds and was officially recorded in the boxers’ professional records.

According to Netflix, the fight was watched live by 60 million households worldwide, with peak viewership reaching 65 million, making it one of the most-watched events of 2024.
