Crawford’s Trainer Explains When Canelo Slows Down: “That’s the End”

Trainer of two-time undisputed world champion Terence Crawford, Brian McIntyre, shared what he noticed while watching the recent fights of their next opponent, Canelo Alvarez.

– That power can’t be maintained throughout the whole fight. Usually, he slows down in the 6th or 7th round. And if you slow down — that’s the end.

– That’s what you’ve seen in his last few fights?

– I see him slowing down in the later rounds. And he stops boxing.

The showdown between Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) and Canelo Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs) takes place on September 13 in Las Vegas, USA. On the line will be the undisputed Super Middleweight championship, currently held by Alvarez.
