Bohachuk Believes He Can Beat Ennis

"Interim" WBC super welterweight (up to 69,85 kg) champion Ukrainian Serhii Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) claimed he could defeat IBF welterweight champion American Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs). A fan reacted to a video of Bohachuk working on the bag with the caption "Welcome to my division. Who's next?" and asked:

- Do you think you can beat Boots Ennis?

- Yes, – Bohachuk replied.

The Ukrainian became the "interim" champion at the end of March 2024 after defeating Bryan Mendoza. Ennis signed a contract with Matchroom Boxing at the beginning of April. Eddie Hearn, the head of the promotional company, has already named the American's next opponent.
