Matchroom Boxing has announced the signing of a contract with the "interim" IBF welterweight champion Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs).
"We're delighted to welcome IBF World Welterweight Champ Jaron Ennis to the Matchroom Boxing team on a multi-fight deal in partnership with Boots Promotions and DAZN Boxing" the company announced the champion's signing.
Jaron Ennis last entered the ring in July of the previous year against Colombian Roiman Villa (26-2, 24 KOs) and won by knockout. In February 2024, Ennis filed a lawsuit against NOW Boxing to terminate the contract and seek compensation of over one million dollars due to the company's failure to organize the number of fights specified in the contract.
