Benavidez Responds to Ryan: «Send the Contract»

WBC interim light heavyweight title contender (up to 79.4 kg) David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs) reacted to a challenge from Ryan Garcia (25-1, 24 KOs) for a fight.

«Send the contract, Ryan. I’ll go down to 144 (pounds or 65.3 kg),» Benavidez wrote on his Instagram.

Earlier, Garcia responded to the appointment of a new challenger for Canelo by stating that he is ready to fight Benavidez, even if it means gaining a lot of weight for such a showdown.

Benavidez’s next fight will take place on June 15 against Oleksandr Gvozdyk.
