"You in the Mood?" Shakur Calls Out Loma for End-of-Year Fight

American WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) has issued a challenge to Ukrainian IBF titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) via social media.

"So, Vasyl, are you finally in the mood to fight now? Let’s make this fight happen at the end of the year, tough guy. Seems like you’re finally in the mood," Shakur wrote on Twitter.

Recall, in the early hours of August 4, during the event in Los Angeles, USA, headlined by the Crawford-Madrimov fight, Shakur and Lomachenko had a heated argument, during which the Ukrainian suggested they step into the ring immediately.

In May, Vasyl Lomachenko defeated George Kambosos (21-3, 10 KOs) by technical knockout in the 11th round. Shakur Stevenson won a unanimous decision against Artem Harutyunyan (12-2, 7 KOs) on July 6.
