"Could Be Top Fights." Warren on Fury vs. Usyk Undercard

Queensberry Promotions head Frank Warren believes the undercard for the fight between Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) will feature several top-tier matches.

"It's a fantastic card. Several fights on it could be top-level. The main event is the greatest fight of this century. It cost a fortune to get these guys in the ring and make this happen. Everything else is a huge bonus. Every other fight is a good scrap, good British fights. There are a few exciting fights throughout the event.

I've seen a lot of comments about it, and 99% of them agree that it's a damn good undercard.

To everyone else - live a little, for God's sake, what a bunch of miserable sods. I don't care what someone says. It's a fantastic show," Warren told BoxNation.

The fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship between Usyk and Fury is scheduled for May 18th in Saudi Arabia. On April 3rd, it was announced that another Ukrainian, Daniel Lapin, would also be fighting on the card.

Earlier, event organizer Turki Al Sheikh addressed fans who were unhappy with the undercard.
