Turki: "Look for 'Clown' Fights Elsewhere"

The head of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al Sheikh, responded to claims about the weakness of the undercard for the bout for the title of undisputed heavyweight world champion (over 90.7 kg) between the holder of the IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), and WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).

"A powerful card for all boxing fans, which contains a minimum of 3 to 4 fights, could easily be the main event.

Anyone looking for low quality or 'clown' fights should look elsewhere. We aim to deliver an exceptional card for the fans," Turki wrote.

The Usyk-Fury fight is scheduled to take place on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
