WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) has confirmed that he plans to fight two more times before retiring from boxing.
– You previously said you have two fights left before retirement. Do you still stand by that? And who would be your ideal opponents?
– I don’t know who my opponents will be, but yes, I have two fights left in this incredible journey.
For 20 years, no one could organize a fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship, but Saudi Arabia made it happen. His Excellency Turki Alalshikh made it happen, and they can do it again.
Fans really want to see this fight, and more than anything, I want to fight there (Saudi Arabia).
Usyk has previously expressed interest in a rematch with Daniel Dubois and a title unification bout before calling it a career.
