Underdog or Champ? Froch Discusses Usyk's Chances Against Fury

Ex-champ Carl Froch throws his two cents in about the clash of titans: WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight champ Oleksandr Usyk squaring off against WBC champ Tyson Fury.

"Fingers crossed, Fury's bringing his A-game, the one that tangoed with Wilder thrice. He has stepped up and defended those titles on home turf. Usyk vs. Fury? It's anybody's game.

Initially, I pegged Fury as the top dog – the guy's a giant. But Usyk? He's a beast in the ring, mind of steel. It's hard to picture anyone taking him down, but anything can happen in the ring. Remember, a solid heavyweight trumps a solid light-heavy any day.

From what I'm seeing, Fury's past his prime. The guy's still a mountain but packing extra around the middle, struggling to trim down. Fury's clock's ticking – he's in his 40s, and dough isn't his driver. Tune into his Netflix doc, and you'll catch my drift: the man's grappling with more than just opponents," Froch spills.

Mark your calendars – Usyk vs. Fury, February 17, ringside in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
