Tyson: "I'm Scared to Death Right Now"

The former undisputed heavyweight champion, 57-year-old Mike Tyson, shared how he motivates himself for the fight against YouTuber and heavyweight boxer Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs).

"I have a strange character, although I don't think it's surprising. Whatever I'm afraid to do, I do it. That's how it happens. I was scared of the fight with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020. I had 100 pounds of extra weight, despite how old I was, 54 or 53, and I said, 'Let's do it.' Everything I'm afraid of, I overcome. That's my personality. Right now, I'm scared to death.

The closer the fight gets, the less nervous I become, because it becomes reality. And in reality, I am unbeatable.

I saw a YouTube video where Jake, at 16, is doing amazing dances. That's not the guy I'll be fighting. This guy will come; he'll try to inflict pain I'm accustomed to, and he's very mistaken," Tyson told Fox News.

The fight is set to take place on July 20th in Texas. Mike mentioned that the encounter would be an exhibition but under the general rules of professional boxing.
