Hello! My name is Serhii Lapin, I am the sports director of Oleksandr Usyk’s team, the reigning heavyweight world champion and one of the best boxers in the world regardless of weight category. Several times a year, Oleksandr prepares for professional boxing matches. During this period, my responsibilities include: organization of the entire training process, coordinated team work, including involvement of nutritionists, cutmen, tapers, rehabilitation therapists and other sports specialists, search for a training base, as well as scrupulous selection of sparring partners. One of the most difficult and time-consuming tasks is the search for sparring partners for Oleksandr. The process includes numerous calls to agents, managers and boxers directly from different parts of the world, as well as lengthy negotiations of terms and conditions for each of them. All the above, as well as the absence of a service able to provide contact data, sparring videos, reviews, the functionality of convenient communication between boxers, trainers, agents, managers, promoters and other specialists, led us to the idea of developing the Ready to Fight startup. Now, Ready to Fight is a functioning platform where the boxing community can solve their boxing tasks in a simple and effective way!
