American boxer Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) has weighed in on the recent agreement between Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority chief, Turki Alalshikh, and TKO Group Holdings to establish a new boxing promotion, which will be led by UFC President Dana White.
"If they plan to pay like the UFC does, I’m afraid we won’t like it. But I’m excited to see Dana getting involved in the boxing business. He’s a cool guy, and I’m sure he and Turki Alalshikh have big plans for the sport," Garcia stated.
Ryan Garcia is set to return to the ring on May 2 against Rolando Romero. Ahead of the fight, it was revealed that Garcia will be preparing for the bout without his former trainer, Eddy Reynoso.
