According to ESPN journalist and insider Mike Coppinger, the bout between former super middleweight champion (up to 76.2 kg) Caleb Plant (22-2, 13 KOs) and Trevor McCumby (28-0, 21 KOs) has been postponed.
The delay is due to a cut above McCumby's right eye, sustained during his training camp. The new date and location are yet to be announced.
Initially, the fight was set for August 17 in Orlando, Florida.
McCumby has already fought in 2024, winning a unanimous decision over Christopher Pearson in late January. Plant last fought in March 2023, losing by decision to David Benavidez.
