Former heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) world champion Deontay Wilder (43-4-1, 42 KOs) may return to the ring against Stephan Shaw (20-2, 15 KOs).
It is expected that the ex-champion’s comeback could take place in April, with BLK Prime serving as the broadcaster. This was reported earlier by journalist Manouk Akopyan.
Wilder is on a run of four losses in his last five bouts. In his previous fight, he was knocked out by Zhilei Zhang. Thirty-two-year-old Stephan Shaw has fought twice in 2024—both times ending with first-round stoppage victories, over Brandon Johnson and Jason Bergman.
Before that, Stephan lost two fights in a row in 2023—to Efe Ajagba and Joseph Goodall.
