Moses Itauma: “I Don’t Want to Call Out Usyk”

20-year-old British Heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma shared his thoughts on possible opponents following his victory over 37-year-old compatriot Dillian Whyte.

“I don’t want to call out Usyk, because I don’t believe I’ve earned that opportunity just yet. But against those who truly deserve that chance, I’d very much like to step into the ring.

Maybe it will be Agit Kabayel, maybe Parker. Perhaps fighters like them,” Itauma said.

As a reminder, on August 16, Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) knocked out Dillian Whyte (31-4, 21 KOs) in the first round.

After the fight, Itauma’s trainer Ben Davison spoke about his fighter’s future plans, while Turki Alalshikh expressed his wish to see Itauma face Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk next.
