Joshua Tells Pereira How to Start Boxing Debut

Former unified heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Anthony Joshua responded to UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

Previously, Joshua had stated on Twitter that the Brazilian should one day debut in boxing. Pereira replied that he had always dreamed of it, but at 37, he couldn’t build a full-fledged career. However, he asked for advice on whom to fight.

Anthony suggested that Alex contact the promotional company where he is an advisor.

"There are many options, champ. I'm sure something can be arranged. Write to 258MGT," Joshua wrote.

258MGT specializes in the development of athletes beyond their sport. 37-year-old Alex Pereira scored an early victory over Jiří Procházka in June. Anthony Joshua will have his next fight on September 21 against IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (21-0, 20 KOs).
