Croatian mandatory IBF heavyweight title contender Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) had strong words for his next opponent Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs).
"For me, Dubois is just a little kid. He won't put me to sleep. I've fought much stronger punchers, and they couldn't knock me out. He won't either. I will destroy him. He's not mature enough for me.
When you look at Dubois, he's like a child taken from his parents and left in the middle of a large shopping mall. And this child looks around, asking, 'Where are my parents?'. That's how I see him. He looks lost and doesn't know where he needs to go. He's like a child," said Hrgovic.
Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois will meet on June 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fight will take place as part of a 5 vs 5 tournament between promotional companies Matchroom Boxing and Queensberry Promotions.
