Hearn: "Won't Be Surprised If Canelo Punches Oscar at the Weigh-In"

On May 2nd, a press conference was held for the fight between super middleweight (up to 76,2 kg) undisputed champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) and Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs). During the event, Canelo had a verbal altercation with his former promoter Oscar De La Hoya.

Promoter and Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn commented on the conflict and said he wouldn't be surprised if the undisputed champ let his fists do the talking.

"I spoke to Canelo last night. I won't be surprised if he knocks him out. I won't be surprised if Canelo punches Oscar De La Hoya. He won't hesitate," said Hearn.

The fight between Saul Alvarez and Jaime Munguia will take place on May 4th in Las Vegas, USA.
