Hearn Responds to Oscar: "You're Like a Crazy Fan"

Promoter Oscar De La Hoya sharply reacted to the announcement of the Crawford vs. Madrimov fight, where Eddie Hearn is also one of the organizers. Oscar says that this is now war for him, and Hearn should focus on organizing tournaments outside the USA.

"Oscar, are you really okay? You're chasing me like a crazy fan. You've scored a great victory, but for some reason, I'm in your head 24/7.

Unfortunately for you, I'm a global-scale promoter with 18 champions while you have four. I have big plans to work with everyone to develop the sport worldwide and bring fantastic talents to the US market.

I sincerely wish you all the best and hope you can enjoy what you're doing," Hearn wrote.

On April 20th, Oscar and Eddie organized a joint tournament where De La Hoya's fighter Ryan Garcia defeated Hearn's fighter Devin Haney. In the undercard of the Crawford vs. Madrimov fight, Oscar’s athlete Vergil Ortiz is also scheduled to box.
