Gervonta on Hearn: "Snake in a Suit"

Yesterday, on May 2nd, it was revealed that American junior welterweight (up to 63.5 kg) Ryan Garcia (25-1, 20 KOs) failed drug tests taken before his fight against WBC champion Devin Haney (31-1, 15 KOs).

In light of this, WBA lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) Gervonta Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) and promoter Eddie Hearn had a quarrel on social media.

Hearn: Only one clown here. One minute you are accusing him then he's been set up.

Davis:I know what you are and what you do.. you are a snake in a suit that fake ass smile doesn't fool me. You fool these people not me!

Hearn: Your head has fallen off mate.

Davis: And i would knock your head clean off ya shoulders.. mate.

Hearn: With a step ladder.

On the night of April 21st, Ryan Garcia defeated Devin Haney. Despite the loss, Devin remains the WBC champion, as Ryan didn't meet the weight limit and wasn't eligible for the title.
