WBC super heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) commented on Anthony Joshua's (28-3, 25 KOs) emphatic victory over Francis Ngannou (0-2).
"I still despise him. AJ is made for me. Just because he knocked out Francis Ngannou means nothing. He couldn't land those right-hand shots on Usyk, who is much smaller and lighter. Styles make fights, and his style is made for me," Michael Benson reports Fury's words.
On March 8th, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a fight took place between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou. Already in the first round, Joshua sent his opponent to the canvas with a knockdown. In the second, the Brit finished the confrontation by sending his opponent to a second knockdown, then followed up with a decisive blow.
Fury had previously commented on a potential meeting with Joshua.
