Fundora: "I Want to Be Undisputed – Just Like My Sister"

Sebastian Fundora (22-1-1, 14 KOs), the reigning WBC and WBO super welterweight champion, shared his thoughts after a dominant fourth-round TKO over Chordale Booker (23-2, 11 KOs).

"I’ve felt ready this whole time—since my last fight. I worked really hard this year to stay in shape. Now I’ve successfully defended both my titles, and the path ahead is wide open.

I showed the fans that I’m a powerful fighter. I’ve always been that guy, and tonight I proved it again.

We didn’t even bring in southpaws for camp. The main focus was adjusting to his footwork. He didn’t want to trade punches, so we broke him down with body shots.

Once I rocked him in the third round, he started to slow down.

I’d love to become undisputed—just like my sister. Whoever’s next, I’m ready. I want to fight IBF champion Bakhram Murtazaliev, and I know Xander Zayas is the WBO mandatory.

I also want to face Errol Spence Jr. We’ve got two belts to defend. But if someone wants to unify—let’s make it happen."

As a reminder, Fundora earned the win over Booker on March 23 via technical knockout in Round 4, marking the first defense of the titles he won in March 2024.
