Fundora Snubs Spence

In an exclusive interview with Fight Hub TV, newly crowned WBC and WBO super welterweight (up to 69,9 kg) champion, Sebastian Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs), addressed whether he would vacate his WBO belt to face Errol Spence Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs).

Terence Crawford is the best fighter in the world... I would love to fight him,” Fundora stated.

Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) stakes a claim to fight against Fundora, utilizing his “super champion” status with the WBO to challenge the champion of the same organization in the next weight class.

On March 30th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA, WBO super welterweight world champion Tim Tszyu (24-1, 17 KOs) defended his title against the American Sebastian Fundora. The vacant WBC title was also up for grabs.

By the third round, both fighters were bleeding, with Fundora suffering from a nose and mouth bleed and Tszyu sustaining a cut after colliding with his opponent's elbow.

The fight lasted the full 12 rounds, ending in a split decision victory for Fundora. The judges' scores were 116-112 for Tszyu and 116-112, 115-113 for Fundora.
