Bidding for Ennis's Next Fight Set for April 23

As reported by insider Michael Benson, the IBF has scheduled a purse bid for the fight between "interim" IBF welterweight (up to 66,7 kg) champion Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) and Canadian Cody Crowley (22-0, 9 KOs).

The bid is planned for Tuesday, April 23rd.

According to Eddie Hearn, head of Matchroom Boxing, this will be a mandatory title defense for Jaron. The promoter mentioned they want the fight to take place in Boots' hometown – Philadelphia, USA.

The tentative date is June-July.

Yesterday, April 10th, Matchroom Boxing announced signing a contract with Jaron.
