Crawford Returns to Sparring

Current WBC lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) shared that WBC, WBA, and WBO welterweight champion (up to 66.68 kg) Terence Crawford has conducted his first sparring session against him.

"Bud (Crawford's nickname) came to the gym today and did 11 rounds with me. The rounds, as always, were fiery," Shakur posted on his Twitter.

Terence is preparing to return at a new weight – he plans to move up to the super welterweight category (up to 69.85 kg) for a WBO title fight. The opponent could be either Sebastian Fundora or the British boxer Kelly.

Shakur Stevenson is likely to return with a fight against Artem Arutyunyan.
