Terence Crawford on Canelo Fight: "Looking Forward to Becoming Undisputed for the Third Time"

WBA junior middleweight champion Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) has responded to the official announcement of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) facing William Scull (23-0, 9 KOs) for the undisputed super middleweight championship.

"Good luck, Canelo, in your next fight. Looking forward to becoming undisputed for the third time," Crawford wrote.

The Canelo vs. Scull showdown is set for May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking Alvarez’s first fight under his Riyadh Season contract. Under the terms of this deal, Canelo and Crawford are expected to meet in a blockbuster clash in September 2025.
