Boxxer Promotions head Ben Shalom has shared details regarding the condition of his client, British heavyweight boxer Frazer Clarke (8-1-1, 6 KOs).
According to the promoter, Clarke required surgical intervention due to a cheekbone injury sustained in the bout against fellow countryman Fabio Wardley (18-0-1, 17 KOs).
“Today, Frazer successfully underwent a minor operation. He is feeling well and has rested, and he will return to the UK this evening for further recovery with his family. He sincerely thanks everyone for their support, and we look forward to his speedy recovery,” said Shalom.
Recall that on October 12 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Fabio Wardley knocked out Frazer Clarke in the first round. After the fight was stopped, Clarke required an oxygen mask.
