On October 12 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a rematch took place between unbeaten British heavyweight boxers Fabio Wardley (18-0-1, 17 KOs) and Frazer Clarke (8-1-1, 6 KOs) for the BBBofC British and WBA International titles.

Fighter Preparations Before the Fight

The first bout between Wardley and Clarke occurred in March and ended in a draw, which left both sides dissatisfied. Before the fight, the boxers stated that they had worked on their mistakes, with Fabio viewing this fight as a stepping stone to the world title.

Result

In the first round, Wardley trapped Clarke in the corner and sent him to the canvas. The referee quickly realized that there was no possibility of continuing the fight—TKO in the 1st round. Following this, Frazer required an oxygen mask.

This marks Clarke's first loss in his career.
