WBA, WBC, and WBO super middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) reacted to the headline-grabbing stunt by Chris Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25 KOs), who smashed an egg on the face of his upcoming opponent Conor Benn (23-0, 14 KOs) during their face-off.

– I probably would’ve killed him.

– What about your staredown with Plant?

Canelo Álvarez and Caleb Plant met in November 2021, in a fight that ended with a TKO victory for Canelo in the 11th round. Their staredown turned into a brawl after Canelo shoved Plant, who retaliated — igniting one of the most intense pre-fight moments in recent memory.
