Canelo Names Condition for Fighting Benavidez

The undisputed super middleweight (up to 76,2 kg) champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) has clearly stated what it would take for him to be ready to fight against David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs), who is considered the most sought-after opponent for the Mexican fighter.

"If any of the promoters come to me and offer 150-200 million, I'd fight tomorrow.

I'm fighting Munguia only because an additional 25 million came up," said Alvarez.

The Canelo vs. Munguia fight is set for May 4th in Las Vegas. During the first press conference, Alvarez sharply responded to Mike Tyson, who criticized him for choosing Munguia over Benavidez as his next opponent.
