Super middleweight (up to 76,2 kg) undisputed champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) has stated that after his fight against Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs), he is ready to face David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs).
"If the money is right, why not? I can fight him on Saturday night.
Of course, I'll beat that guy. If the money is right, I'll beat that guy even on the same night after Munguia," Canelo said.
On May 4th in Las Vegas, USA, Saul Alvarez will fight against a Mexican opponent for the first time since 2017. Recently, Canelo had a heated argument with his former promoter and Munguia's current promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, which almost led to a fight.
