"Only Won One Big Fight": Canelo Critiques Crawford's Career

WBA, WBC, and WBO super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) shared his thoughts on WBA junior middleweight champion Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs).

According to Canelo, the American’s record includes only one notable victory—against Errol Spence (28-1, 22 KOs).

"I respect Terence Crawford, but he’s only won one big fight. If you look at his record, he’s only beaten one strong opponent. Other than Spence, I don’t think he’s faced any major fighters," Canelo said in an interview with TMZ Sport.

Terence Crawford faced Errol Spence in July 2023, winning by technical knockout in the 9th round.

Previously, an insider revealed the most likely month for a potential fight between Canelo and Crawford.
