Canelo Leaves PBC – Insider Reports

According to insider Rick Glaser, super middleweight undisputed champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) will announce his departure from the promotional company Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on February 13th.

Saul has a three-fight contract with PBC but has only completed one fight against Jermell Charlo. Glaser reports that the promoters will release Canelo from his contract without fulfilling it entirely.

It is likely that Alvarez will become a free agent. There had been earlier reports suggesting Canelo would make a significant announcement regarding his career future on February 13th.
