Canelo and Crawford Fight to Take Place in the USA

Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh, shared when and where the fight between undisputed super middleweight champion (up to 76.2 kg) Saul Alvarez and WBC, WBO, WBA welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg) Terence Crawford should take place.

Turki plans to continue holding fights in the USA.

«I want this fight. And we’re thinking of doing it in America because we want it to be big,» said Alalshikh.

Turki also added that the fight could take place either at the end of 2024 or at the beginning of 2025 in a stadium in New York, Las Vegas, or Los Angeles.

The first event by Alalshikh in the USA will be a tournament featuring Crawford – Terence will fight on August 3 against Israil Madrimov. Earlier, Turki stated that he is angry with the IBF for quickly appointing a challenger for Alvarez.
