Bivol Defeats Beterbiev

On February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Dmitry Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) claimed undisputed supremacy in the light heavyweight division, defeating Artur Beterbiev (21-1, 20 KOs) by majority decision.

The judges scored the fight: 114-114, 116-112, 115-113

This marks the first career loss for Beterbiev, who had stopped all previous opponents before reaching the final bell.

In their previous encounter, Bivol also suffered a decision loss, but this time, he flipped the script and walked away as the undisputed light heavyweight champion of the world.
