Bill Haney: «Expect Something Serious»

Bill Haney, father of WBC junior welterweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Devin Haney (31-1, 15 KOs), reacted to Ryan Garcia’s (25-1, 20 KOs) positive B sample for doping.

«What you do in the dark comes to light. There is nothing funny about what Garcia's team and what Ryan did. Expect something serious. This branches out from this. Consequences and ramifications. We didn’t break any rules and didn’t expect this. We signed up for a fair fight, but didn’t get it. He’s a cheat.

While he talks about running from elitism and doing everything to protect kids, he’s openly using drugs, while his fans claim it’s cool. It’s not cool.

We will do everything we can to expose this very bad thing that Garcia’s team did,» said Bill.
