Ben Whittaker joins Matchroom Boxing

Ben Whittaker, the 28-year-old British light heavyweight, has officially signed with Matchroom Boxing, joining promoter Eddie Hearn’s stable.

Previously, Whittaker was promoted by BOXXER, led by Ben Shalom.

Ben Whittaker (9-0-1, 6 KOs) last fought in April, when he defeated Liam Cameron in their rematch via second-round TKO. Their first fight ended in a technical draw after both men fell out of the ring at the bell, resulting in an injury to Whittaker.
