Bellew: "Joshua Will Knockout Fury in the Fight for the Undisputed"

British former world champion Tony Bellew believes that Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) will get a chance to fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship. He is also confident that if Tyson Fury becomes the opponent, Anthony will win by knockout.

"I believe Joshua will fight the winner of the Usyk vs. Fury match. If Tyson becomes the undisputed champion – Anthony will knockout him. He'll let his hands go and overcome him prematurely. His power is astonishing. He once again demonstrated how devastating he can be. It's frightening. Joshua has done well. He came out and knocked out his recent opponents. The work done against Wallin was perfect. A wonderful performance from the first to the last second. He finished the fight with Otto marvelously. And then he went against Ngannou – everyone thought Anthony would have problems with him. I said it would all be over in 6 rounds. Joshua is now in such a state where the mental fragility he attributed to his name has disappeared. No more mental issues. He doesn’t need to worry about anything because Davison takes care of that now. Anthony knows he's in good shape and can let his hands go," Bellew said for Spinbet.

Earlier, Bellew was amazed by the punching power with which Joshua knocked out Francis Ngannou in the fight on March 8. The Usyk-Fury fight is scheduled for May 18 in Saudi Arabia. According to promoter Eddie Hearn, Riyadh tournament organizer Turki Al-Sheikh told him that Anthony Joshua would claim the winner of the rematch between Oleksandr and Tyson.
