ESPN insider Mike Coppinger reports that American heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) prospect Jared Anderson (16-0, 15 KOs) has been released on a $10,000 bail.
Jared was charged with a "third-degree felony for resisting arrest" after his arrest last Thursday.
The police stated they chased Anderson for 6 miles (9.6 km) during a pursuit that exceeded speeds of 130 mph (209 km/h), culminating in the boxer crashing into a guardrail.
The next court hearing is set for March 13th in Michigan, USA. If the 24-year-old boxer is found guilty, he could face up to 5 years in prison and/or a fine of $1,000, along with a one-year suspension of his driver's license.
Anderson was detained by the police the day before.
He is scheduled to fight Riad Merhy (32-2, 26 KOs) on April 13th.
