Ali's Grandson Gets First Opponent After Loss

Promotional company Top Rank has announced a bout between Americans Sona Akale (9-1, 4 KOs) and Muhammad Ali's grandson, Nico Ali Walsh (9-1, 5 KOs).

The fight is scheduled for June 29. It has also been confirmed that the same card will feature Teofimo Lopez vs. Steve Claggett and Robeysi Ramirez vs. Brandon Leon Benitez.

The first bout between Sona Akale and Nico Ali Walsh took place in August 2023, where Akale won by majority decision, marking the first loss in Ali Walsh's career.
