Al-Sheikh Plans Mega-Tournament in London

Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, is considering the possibility of organizing a tournament in London. The evening's format may mirror the 5 vs 5 matchup between promotional companies Queensberry and Matchroom.

"Together with Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn, I am discussing, pondering, and exploring the possibility of doing something grand at Wembley in September as a promotion for the season in Riyadh," said Al-Sheikh. In the 5 vs 5 tournament format, 5 fighters from Matchroom and Queensberry will compete against each other. Fighters will be selected through a draw.
